I've been on an art book search the past 6 months, including how-to paint/draw books, and I've run into some nice goodies recently, and, I'm always looking for shoes, DVD's, CD's and old VHS tapes and used VHS players. Yes, I've found any number of people who can repair them!

Have picked up some awesome illustrated art books on Renoir, Picasso, and I'm also buying cheap frames, so one day I can cut out some of these paintings and frame my favorites.

Last week I bought the most comfortable pair of shoes for $6 and I wear them every day.

How about you?

I am always on the lookout for large, heavy stoneware pie dishes -- I use them to make home baked pies as well as chicken pot pie. I recently found 2 on two separate occasions at Goodwill and paid $2.99 each. And these are nice American made ones -- not made in China. Sometimes I make a pie for a sick person or a new Mom and tell them to keep the pie dish.

Found 2 nice black end tables. Excellent condition, well built, and just a slight burn mark from a candle on one of them. $1 each.

The library had a book sale, and I was able to buy some great paperbacks for a quarter each. I've been meaning to read more lately, and I've got some goodies that I'm looking forward to.
