Lacking a landline, but I still need to fax sometimes.

There are some app/site that can take a PDF, or Scan and do a Fax.

Places like the UPS store, Library will do it for a charge.

Does "work" have a fax machine?

If you have a good relationship with your bank, they will often do it for you.

If you're talking purely electronic documents or something you can scan and make into an electronic doc, try:

http://faxzero.com

Free for short documents and if you only need to do a few.

I am my own workplace. I cancelled the landline since the majority of the time people now prefer PDFs. But certain documents they won't or I can't. Less secure. Also, it's related to my care-giving duties. My Dad just will not learn how to PDF, lol. My brother hands him things to take care of and how he takes care of them is faxing them to me! And sometimes I need to get something to him and he'd rather get a fax.

I don't want to have to go anywhere. I know there are services to fax w/o a landline. I used to use my neighbor friend's home office but she is super super busy right now and I am not going to impose on her.

Not through zerofax.

Try googling "how can I receive a fax to my email" - a bunch of links came up - some with at least a free trial period I think.

Thanks. Still hoping someone will chime in who has used such a service before, narrowing down my selection.
