Yes, it's a personal sport...a $75 French knife, a$1 at a garage sale.
Brand new Couch purse...$5 at a flea market
Brazilian Butt Lift exercise series (3-- $19.95 easy payments) New $2.99 Thrift Store
Whole set of essential oils, some $15 each....$5 for the set...garage sale.
Gallons of filtered water .25 at Health Food Store.
Gifts people do not want or parents' estate sales when children do not know the value
of very high quality items are the best!
What a collection of Le Crueset cookware I have!
I sure as hell do! Every time I have a chance to be frugal, I can. Here's some (extreme) examples of me being frugal:
When I go out to eat, I use the extra napkins in my house and put them in my napkin holder
When I get extra condiment packets, i use them for a later use
When I get extra paper plates, I use them for a later use.
I only buy tacos during taco tuesday where tacos are only a dollar each.
-I buy one 24-pack of water, but throughout the day, I refill it using my water filter.
-I buy $5 dollar tee shirts and buy off brand jeans.
-If I use a dish early in a day, instead of immediately putting it in the dishwasher, i'll wash that dish and use that dish throughout the day.
I love to squeeze every single last penny that I can. My roommate wastes so much money on things. He goes through 5 bottles of water or more a day, he uses up 10 napkins daily, he leaves the light on...etc. He "looks down" on me for being frugal but he doesn't know how it feels to own a house and having a desire for his savings account to grow.
May I suggest getting a Hydroflask. I have a 22 oz Hyrdoflask water bottle that was around $30. The upfront cost was worth it because I try to drink as much water as I can + the water stays cold for up to 8 hours.
I consider it a sport/ hobby as well. I try to look at reducing the cost of hard good purchases but also activities and services. My goal is to avoid paying retail. I also try and eliminate waste in everyday life. I only use as much cooking oil, tissue, soap etc as is necessary to do the job at hand. I don't mind spending money on good quality tools (kitchen or garage) since I expect them to last a lifetime. Being frugal is actually fun and challenging, even my wife is gradually embracing the concept, in fact sometimes she beats me at my own game lol.

I'm with you. It's a way of life. Started out as poor college student trying to survive and over the years, honed these habits and never looked back!
