It really depends...I have deluded myself with items bought online due to the price, but you get what you pay for. $20 camera is probably worth that, the $500 one is always better made and lasts longer and has a warranty....

So, unless I NEED it, I'm refraining...(I have to buy several pairs of pants as I have 5 shirts without pants)..This way I have a 2 week wardrobe...only have to do laundry once every 2 weeks then.

Oh I just finished cleaning out the vehicle...tossed things I bought and rarely used or even didn't use, but thought I'd need it...Guess I was wrong.

Oh heck no, and if I ever use a coupon, it is only on something I was going to buy anyway. I rotate between 3 grocery stores and Sam’s Club. I buy only what I need, when it’s on sale. I ignore other sale items unless I need them.
I know from experience that many things I use are on sale regularly, so I’m not missing out on anything, except falling prey to marketing.

They are. Back to school specials is a time to stock up. Also, if you watch the shelves, they sometimes discount them when they switch out packaging.

I never realized they were marketed that way.

Check out places like Walmart and Target during the time they target the college kids for back to school. I've seen some pretty decent bulk deals on some of the name brands. You may be able to apply a coupon too if you can find any.

I shop t walmart almost exclusively, as it is the closest to where I live out here. The only target, closest to where I live, is 46 miles one way. Driving there would negate any savings.
I have not seen any fem supplies on sale here during school supplies promotions.

Fem supplies, it seems like I frequently see coupons for them. The Walmart house brand (equate) is good and much lower priced than national brands. How's the price at Costco?

But back to school sales, I wait for those and buy several notebooks, packages of pens, and some sharpies. Some of those back to school deals are excellent bargains. I buy enough to last until the sale the next year.

I get 2-3 types for $12-$13.99 for 88-96 or so at the one is Washington....I buy a pkg or 2 when I am going to the homeless shelter. Being homeless doesn't mean bodies stop their normal process...That and small travel hygiene items also...Dollar store is great for that....

I did walmart previously, but Costco is way better....

OH, btw you CAN join online and have the stuff shipped to you....
