I moved to a new city, and OMG, I spent so much money on food. I've been here for 3 weeks and I've eaten out every day, sometimes two times a day.
Most of you guys know that I struggle with eating out and spending money. It's my lone weakness as far as splurging. Other than that, I try to minimize my expenses and do a very good job at it. Food is my achilles heel.
International travel . Maybe 20% of my income over the past five years. But of course, that includes meals and lodging. There have been years in the past when I spent the whole year abroad traveling.
I've cut back on my eating out a good bit. I eat breakfast at home every day. Probably brown bag half the time. Once or twice a week, I'll go out to dinner. I tend to eat out more on the weekends because I'm rarely home on the weekends and do day trips fairly often.
We've had a reduction in income. Lately, our splurges have been meals out. We are still cautious within certain limitations. For instance,my big Mother's Day meal was a buy one get one free at a local fast food restaurant. We had enough of the deals for the family to eat for less than $20. It's next to the high school so the restaurant makes up the difference during regular times.
Shows and concerts. I go to see anything that I am even remotely interested in. I have even started a savings account, just for season tickets next year.

Sorry I wasn't specific, touring Broadway shows. Season tickets are about 6 shows a year.
