Anyone do this and if so, do you find yourself skipping the impulsive buys??
Nope, I pay for everything with a credit card. Pay it off each month. If I don't have the money to buy something, I don't buy it. I get 2 % cash back on every purchase made with the card.

My grocery bill has very little to do with survival. Food is fun, wine is fun. Self control has nothing to do with groceries.

What's the stripper rebate?

About the only place I use cash is the barber shop. I will not have a debit card. I don't need for anyone else to have access to my bank account.

If the strip club is coded in the system as 'entertainment', it's a 3% cash back category for the Capitol One Savor card.

I'm another credit card for points grocery store shopper. We've gotten our grocery store spending pretty much down to what we want, need, and aren't going to waste, and I figure I might as well get some AmEx points out of the transaction.

I use my Cap One rewards card for everything, including all my automated bills each month, then pay off the balance with one big payment.
I also always carry at least $300 in cash at all times tucked in a slot in my wallet for emergencies.

I use credit cards for almost everything. My utilities are on autopay. Groceries and gas go on the card. Pretty much everything except small purchases. I pay my cards in full every month and reap the rewards my credit cards offer.

Between February (México) and October (España) of this year whilst in the USA, I used zero cash.
Credit cards for everything.
