Has anyone used Kohl’s to process a Amazon return? I’m curious as to how it works. How is your refund processed, do they credit your credit card or your Amazon account? Do they have any hidden requirements or fees?

I hate returning stuff. If this is an easy process I would be open to ordering a wider variety of items.

Thanks for any information.

It’s super easy. You start your return on Amazon and they send you a notification which you show to the clerk at kohl’s. Your refund is sent to the card used to buy the product.

Took about 3 mins from start to finish.

No need to box the item.. just bring it in.

I agree. Extremely easy.

And when I did it, I got a discount coupon for Kohl's!

Thanks Kim and Clara! Even I can tolerate what you’ve both described. Shipping back returns is something I refuse to do.

You’re welcome! Shopping back returns in a pain but doing amazon returns this way is awesome.

From a purely business stance its a win win for both companies. The client has to resist the urge to spend while in Kohls and Amazon gets to add another "ease of return" process to their long list of perks .

I actually have a kohls g.c and rarely shop there. SO maybe when I do have a return for amazon...i may just use the g.c. and kill two birds with one stone.

Additionally, for Amazon, the cost of a single large shipment to their liquidator is a lot cheaper than dozens of small returns to them plus labor cost to consolidate just to send to the liquidator anyways. For Kohl's, it enhances a major need of theirs, foot traffic into the store. You're so right, win-win for both!

I was at Kohls a few weeks ago, well before Thanksgiving, and the return area was filled with people with their Amazon boxes. If it is that bad before the holidays, I can't imagine what it will look like the days after Christmas with so many people trying to return their Kohls and Amazon purchases.
