the knob of my crock pot snapped off. This thing has been in my family for at least 30 years. But instead of buying a new one, im using pliers to turn the knob. 😄

What are your one liners?

I save the cotton in Vitamin bottles to use with my nail polish remover.

I refuse to replace the kitchen curtains that my cat likes to scratch up. What's the point? He'll just scratch up the new ones. We call them his "art installation".

I'm so frugal that I enjoy the hunt. I find excitement that I can buy 5 shirts for the price I used to pay for 1 shirt. I find buying something for $200 when everyone else paid $500 is money well spent because now I can transfer that $300 difference on buying something else. I find that I can buy a used $200 fridge and have it outlived two of my brother's $2,000 fridges. I can go on and on but that's just bragging.

I just press the nearly spent soap bar into the new soap bar and use it as one newpiece. I've been doing this for years. My wife thought I was weird at first, but then noticed she's pressed it onto a new bar as well.

I have the same electric alarm clock for the past 37 years. Still buzzes, still tells time.
