A couple more things that thought of that I do

-- re- use plastic shopping bags as my trash bags.
-- also since those trash bags are smaller I'll take them to work and put them in the huge dumpster there

-- re-use brown or white paper shopping bags for package paper to wrap packages (take off the handles, carefully cut open and unfold the folded bottom, most times if you do it VERY carefully you don't even lose any of that part of the bag --then cut open bag down one of the side folds, it becomes a long sheet of heavy brown paper,)

-- take my dishes to work to wash, using the water there instead of mine
(I work work weekends, and no one is there so I'll go to the kitchen and wash five or six plates, bowls, silverware, etc)

-- In our circle, I presume re-using holiday gift wrapping paper goes without saying I'l even take small pieces and make a quilt-patchwork style piece, if I need to. (My friends know and love me so they get a kick out of it.)
