At what temp. do you keep your thermostate in the winter and why?

do you turn it down during the day when your not there? If so, how low

and wouldn't it take more energy to warm the house up when you come back home vs. keeping it at the same temp. cuz you have to not only reheat the home, but also, the carpets, furniture, etc?

What's your method of madness?

70-72 all year, although, in the fall and sometimes spring, we turn it off and open windows.

Ha! In your dreams.

Still, I'd take Arizona weather anyday over the Texas humidity I'll get to experience next summer. The weather is the one and only thing I miss about Arizona.
