Sometimes I find things at those stores (Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls) but usually not. My ADHD starts kicking in when the racks are so jam packed that you can't see the clothes and people's kids and babies are screaming, crying and/or running through the store. Because I get in my ADHD mode, sometimes it's better for me to just go to Nordstrom and pay the price for the better shopping experience. Yeah, I know, I'm lame!

It's a great place for socks, underwear, maybe a pair of gym shoes or cheap sandals. I've found good stuff there plenty of times, even occasionally a decent pair of jeans. Delightfully cheap, yes.

I'll buy most of those things there, but I'm picky about socks. I'm prone to neuromas and learned the hard way that a cheap pair of socks can hurt your feet over time. There's nothing worse than pain in your feet, you become painfully aware how much you stand or walk all day long

I absolutely LOVE TJ Maxx and Marshalls- have purchased Coach shoes and bag along with tons of other high end name brands.

One of the TJ Maxx stores in the LA area carries top high-end designers like Prada, Nanette Lepore, Burberry, Marc Jacobs, Missoni, Valentino Red, Carolina Herrera, etc. - I truly love it - its my "secret" TJ Maxx location

LOL and I'm sort of the same way. As long as I'm not tired or hungry and don't have a whiny kid with me, I'm ok. Otherwise the selection can seem overwhelming and I start disliking everyone I see and just want to get out of there.

But on a good day I've found some nice bargains.

Ans if you are in the Southeast and Midwest, Beall's Outlet also has some very good deals similar to TJ Maxx and Marshall's.
