When I was ruffing it out in L.A I would eat at IKEA for breakfast... It's a STEAL!! For a glass of OJ, eggs, pancakes and a muffin of some sort its like 3.99 cents plus you get to sit in a huge clean building overlooking the city (at lest at my location).

Yeah, but have you ever tried to find your way out of an IKEA? You can get trapped in there for days, which is why they offer cheap food.

It sounds like a very nice view but for me spending $3.99 for breakfast plus tip would be an unnecessary splurge. That is not roughing it.

For $5.00 per week and I can have a very nice breakfast at home for 7 days. And I do. Everyday.

I'd rather just pay 4/day and get service, minimal effort, and a view. I can fart out 4 dollars right now if I wanted to.

Better than me.. 2 Chick-Fil-A chicken biscuits, coffee, hashbrown. $8.21

I can also easily afford it but I choose not to. I think my DH has it best. I cook the meal for him, serve him with a smile, clean up and this is our morning view.

Thank you but it's not only about luck. It's a lot of saving and hard work throughout the years.

No, you're right there...it's not about luck...I used the wrong word...I should have said 'blessed'! Not everyone can be blessed with that kind of view...even some of those who have worked hard all their lives, saved, raised a family, etc.. And I know you and your dh have worked hard on your home...you've been blessed with the health, means, and know-how of taking on such a huge project! God bless!
