Many dollar stores do NOT accept manufacturer's coupons.

I thought it sounded unlikely. It would have been nice if she had listed the dollar stores she goes to.

I have heard that the Dollar General accepts coupons, but the Dollar Tree does not. You can check out couponing info over at Hot Coupon World.

The problem with using coupons at any of the dollar stores (especially those that stick to $1) is that they generally do not carry the same brands or the same sized of national brands that are required for coupon redemption.

I do not generally shop at Dollar General as they are generally more expensive. I will admit that I spent $500 at three DG stores in Central Wisconsin when they were liquidating. I nearly bought out their food section and completely filled my trunk
