True. However, not all of them are in stocks/bonds/mutual fund paper. Like I've said before there ARE other ways to gain a million if that's your goal and all of them are legal to boot.

That does not make stocks a good/only place to put your money. If all the rich decided to live life naked so you know they are the rich would you do that too?

It all depended on where you had your $$$ in the market.

Hubby's retirement tanked just like everyone elses, but now, a couple years later, we're well above where we were when the bottom fell out. He's still on track to retire when he had planned, maybe even a year sooner if things continue to work out. (but he really likes his job, so I can't see him retiring when he says he wants too) Heck, he's been eligible for 4 years already.
