Spring can't be that far away, because R.H. Shumway's seed catalog was in my mailbox this Christmas Eve.

Anyone ordered from this catalog before? Beautiful illustrations, and some intriguing varieties.

Instead of visions of sugarplums, I'll have visions of big fat red ripe tomatoes and plump green beans dancing in my head!

I just got my catalog from Bluestone perennials. I really have my heart set on some winter daphne bushes, and some mock orange.

I'm going to start zillions of flower seeds to plant at my workplace this spring and need good links for flower seed catalogs.

My all time favorite is Park Seed. I've used Burpee.

Good flower seed catalogs? Tell me!

Wow, I take it that most of you guys don't have a Southern States Co-op in your neck of the woods, bummer, they are a great source, not just goods, but information as well. This goes for both flowers and crop seeds and plants.

I'm in NC - could you please provide more info on the Southern States Co-op? I would love to know more!

Hmmm, the local Agway isn't nearly as pretty as some of the seed catalogs I get. Plus I can plan and shop in my jammies from the comfort of my living room, as I look out the windows and watch the snow pile up, dreaming of spring and planting season.
