Definitely get rid of the grubs. Moles eat grubs. If you eliminate their food source, they'll burrow away from your yard and bother the neighbor instead. Always good if you don't like your neighbors

We've used mouse traps baited with peanut butter pretty successfully. Just set the trap near an active tunnel.

A friend of mine wanted the beans from my castor bean plant to drop into the holes as a remedy. Im sure you would have to be careful not to let pets get to them though.

We used the grub killer in the lawn fertilizer for a couple of years and had neither a mole problem or a japanese beetle problem.
