The hot pink flower with yellow centers are Painted Daisies a member of the Pyrethrum family. The yellow daisy looking flower is Leopard's Bane or Doronicum. Both come back nicely year after year. Up here, the Leopard's Bane spreads nicely (and with manners) if happy. The Painted Daisy less so but this one is in a favored location and is young, so we'll see.

AK-Cathy-Great job. I love your cold frame.

OK...here is mine from Saturday. I have onions, peas, squash, zucchini, lots of tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers, and peppers...I think that's all. Everything is expanding but I haven't picked anything yet but soon

Nice garden, yLisa! Gosh, would I love to have some of those fresh-picked veggies when they come in.

I've got 3 tomato plants in pots this year; will see how they do. Just starting to get fruit on one of them. Will probably be at least a few weeks before I'll have anything to pick ~ that is, if they survive. I've yet to have good luck with tomato plants.

Love the pictures. I never saw blue poppies before--they're great. I don't even like going out to see how my poor dry garden is doing but I checked yesterday and some things are growing. I only run the irrigation every other day and it's been hot without any rain. Now it's getting ash from the Los Alamos fire. Do a rain dance for New Mexico! Without lightning.

Thankyou so much.

Here are some more Bromeliads....specifically Tillandsia's(air plants).......this one is just hooked with wire onto a piece of driftwood....hanging outside of the back porch.

PS......IT FINALLY rained here.....YIPEE......over 2.5 inches.......even our old Oak tree was looking stressed......it had been months since we had any significant rainfall!
