The eggplant in our eggplant Parmesan. We have more tomatoes to pick, but everything else appears to be finished.

Some more ruby lettuce and a handful of grape tomatoes today. This weekend I should get a couple more small squash and a lot more peppers. Almost 7 full months of gardening in CO (since mid-March). Love it, but ready for a break so I can plan next year's!

Ooh, got yet another bowl of sweet cherry tomatoes! Going to saute them in olive oil for a quick pasta sauce with the last of the basil and a little garlic for lunch.

I harvested 2 crookneck squash, 3 strawberries, 8 eggplant, 109 various peppers, 137 various tomatoes and some lettuce for a side salad with dinner tonight. Oh, and a TON of parsley, basil, rosemary and oregano. I will admit most of the tomatoes are still green, but will ripen nicely in a box in the basement.

Still expect to get some more grape tomatoes and herbs over the next week or two before the season finally ends.

I'm so jealous! The south metro hail storm took out pretty much everything in my gardens other than a cherry tomato plant and the Hungarian wax peppers.

I think they are cannoli beans, but we are eating them as string beans. Plus curly kale and some asparagus. Couple of papayas and a lime for the guacamole. Oh, yeah, avocados for the guacamole, too. Do eggs count as vegetables if the chickens are fed on garden scraps?

Me too, finally I have a nice looking back yard with some flower beds and some knockout roses to look at. I am excited how it will look comes spring. I can't wait to start my Spring garden and report back on all the food I will getting. It's amazing how peaceful and enjoyable a place can be once you put some structure to it.
