Oh do tell us how they turn out ours has those very sharp thorns.

Mine are all in pots so they get warm faster and tend to be ready bit sooner. I won't get enough of anything to can, maybe tomatoes it's possible I grew too many seedlings, but I get plenty to eat while they are in season

Well I'm eating onions and onion tops along with kale, marjoram, sage and swiss chard in an omelette.

I had some lettuce in a salad for lunch. I'm upset because the flowers on my onions means they're ruined. SOB. The same thing happened with my shallots when I left them in the ground for a second year. The bottom shrivels up and gets really small. I'm going to try to eat the rest this week, and let a few go to seed.

Certainly, but I suspect they're still a few weeks off. I'm hopeful that they'll be tasty. The strawberries I planted a few years ago are going gangbusters. I can't pick them fast enough! Planted some runner beans a few weeks ago, but they've had a rough start, because it's been very hot and dry, and I don't yet have the automatic irrigation set up. The wind today parched them badly. Oh well.

I've been snacking on some French Breakfast radishes, Bright Lights swiss chard, and already harvested some tangerine gem marigolds and lime and lemon basil for angel hair pasta. Mint tea, too!

Mint and stevia for iced tea today. I could use some thyme, but DH grilled brats today, so nothing to put it on.

We have green tomatoes already, so I anxiously anticipate red ones! Oh, and tiny little peppers, too.

Today I plucked quite a bit of mint and made a mint chutney out of it.

Swiss chard in an omelette with brown rice. Sage and rosemary in burgers.

Yesterday, DH and I split the first regular sized tomato. It was heavenly.
