Didnt know whether to post this one in the AZ forum or not....but I ll start here....I have a well landscaped (mostly drought tolerant) yard on a drip system. All together I have over 100 plants and trees. Within that mix I have approximately 10 Oleander bushes. Most of these bloom well in their various colors, but a couple of them grow like crazy (as they all do), but NEVER EVER flower no matter how much I let them grow out (a look I dislike greatly). They are all in the same type of light, soil, and get watered on the same drip....Its not just mine...my neighbors have the same issue...some bloom and some do not....

Any ideas?

Thanks.

What color flowers are yours suppose to be. Oleanders with white flowers bloom profusely, pink flowered ones frequently, red bloomers least often. If you want to kick start them feed them some 'Super Bloom' or 'Miracle Gro Bloom Booster'. Water deeply about once a week and feed them about every 90 days.

Hang in there, they'll eventually bloom. If they're newly planted they just need to adjust. Just remeber the white ones will grow much faster and taller than the other 2 colors.

I have one white Oleander, called "Little Nun"... it blooms sparsely and rarely; was planted 20 years ago. Hate to get rid of it just because it doesn't flower much, it's healthy and about 6 feet tall.

Possibly a dwarf variety. Dwarf varieties don't bloom as often as the regular sized ones. And I bet if you fertilized it and watered it deeply once a week you'd see many more blooms.

We have several oleanders all over that were seeds dropped by birds or wind and not one flower. There is one huge one that is about 8 feet tall and very healthy that has never had one flower. Plenty of sun, water and no over pruning.
There are several oleanders all down the street(which is where I assume these plants have come from) that have tons of flowers. Any suggestions on how to get at least one flower??? Thanks, Nat
