I think I got them originally from select seeds online. At someone's recommenation, I got the white ones since they are supposed to have the strongest fragrance. The nicotiana sylvestris did not germinate (maybe they will appear magically sometime in the future?), but the nicotiana alata have survived and given babies. They smell FAB and did well in the ground and in pots.
How on earth did you get nicotiana sylvestris to germinate? Maybe I got a bad batch? I tried various ways, but none of them seemed to come up.
