I just bought a "Mojack" garden tractor lift that lifts the front end off the ground about 2.5 feet. Thing weighs a ton but I hope it's safe enough for the job.

Anyone have any experience with the Mojack product line?

We have it, LOVE it. It allows me to clean my deck without hubby helping or even being home. We each have our own garden tractor so it comes in quite handy.

NICE!!

I can no longer get on my knees due to knee replacements so unless I can get the mower lifted the deck is gonna be mighty dirty. My neighbor will change the blades out now that I have a lift since I can't get down there to do that work anymore. It's handy but expensive..oh well.

Be careful about dumping the gas out of the tank, and lube oil out the engine and gear-box/transmission.

I would look through articles and forums on >>>

for these type detailed discussions.

Thanks for the heads up.

However, I will never use the mojack to do those tasks. I bought it for taking care of greasing and blade changes and nothing else since I can't get on my knees anymore.

Always support the tractor on stands before you get underneath. Mechanical or hydraulic jacks can fail and trap a person under the load. Be careful.

Oh yes, I will! Soon as I get the lift assembled I'll measure for poles to lock it up when it's raised up.

Hold on a second. I am talking about the gas pouring out of the tank because the entire mower is jacked up in the air on angle. You follow? Same on the oil.

Not that you would trying to dump the gas out. Or the oil. Oh and another -- look out for it dumping the acid/water out of the battery.
