Move it to a fenced area where vandals cannot easily access, fence the area, or place security cameras to film and prosecute those who would vandalize it. Planting thorny barriers like a hedge of roses may help deter vandals unless they are targeting your property/your fountain specifically. Of course this will likely block the view of the fountain in the process.
Wow are yall for real.....I liked the fence area tip.. But wont do me anygood cause maybe I DONT HAVE roses.. I dont like roses either so figure that out mister....Just sayin....Any more Intelligent answers?

Well what did you expect. It's an outdoor item. If you live in an area that has vandalism issues nothing you can do will protect it short of a 24 hour guard.
The answers you got were in direct correlation to the intelligent question you asked.
Here is the best answer yet. Maybe ya'll should move.

The roses were a good suggestion. You didn't state in your original post that you don't like roses, so how could the other posters have known that? The rose suggestion was a logical, fairly inexpensive, fairly temporary, and possibly organic means of providing extra protection for your fountain.
The other suggestions I found online have also been suggested here:

The other suggestions I found online have also been suggested here:
Fence the area
Set the base in concrete
Use motion-activated lighting
Use electric fencing
Use "prickly" bushes
Install home security signs around your property
^^Exactly!^^

Sometimes vandalism comes as a response to negative personalities. Instead of jumping down the throat of someone who gave a well intended and common sense answer, you could have just stated why it would not work for you. The humorous answers were just that; meant to kid a bit because the obvious answer is a dedicated vandal will not be deterred by any home defense. If you've made yourself a target the best thing you can do is remove the things that attract the vandal's attention for a while and try to be nice to people.
