How do you avoid "farmer's tan"?
Arms/legs half white, half brown; tank-top lines; white legs, roofer-brown face.
How do you avoid this sun-marking, when consumed with a gardening fever?

Do your gardening nekkid. Most obvious solution.
Edit: Or sunblock.

Wear a long sleeved sun-blocking shirt, long pants, and a big 'ol wide-brimmed hat. Or, garden nekid so you tan your whole body.

Is this a serious question? Has the OP never heard of sunblock? Or wearing long sleeves and a hat?
What??

Maybe take a vacation from posting until you can discern the difference?
