I find that so funny, too....because it's not tough to control, really. Just about any "easy-to-grow", hardy plant could be considered an invasive species. Let's face it, if hardy and easy to establish...it has the potential to be invasive.
To me....running bamboo is invasive, morning glory.....INVASIVE, English ivy...invasive, horsetail...invasive. I do not consider vinca minor to be invasive.
