I don't know why but, here in central Fl, I have never been able to successfully grow day lilies. I have moved them around over my yard and nothing seems to be where they love. I am sure I am not doing something I should do. I am going to do the 10-50-10 that someone mentioned. I tend to put out my plants and let them do their own thing. I do fertilize twice a year with Lesco fertilizer (which costs me a fortune) and compost but, my day lilies don't thrive. My weeds do.....
