Well I am a little late, but here are our photos around our property. The sun was setting and it was overcast, so you really cannot tell too much, but we do have a lot of green around here. Typically by May 1st, all of our trees are completely leafed out... it looks like we will be right on schedule.
You know over the past few days, I have noticed that SOME trees did seem to suffer from our little late freeze last week. There is a big ridge of trees in town that had all completely green trees, but now some appear to be brown, so I think it did fry some leaves.
Looking southwest off of my front porch...
Greenery off of front porch...
My palms... Windmill was destroyed due to such a harsh winter... my Needle Palm isn't looking much better.
This Windmill didn't have spear pull...
Greenery lower part of driveway...
*That tree to the left there is a Willow Oak... it had leafed out very well, but the cold last week fried its leaves. They were all brown and shriveled.
Looking west... all of the trees off in the distant ridge have leaves, but the way the light is showing the photo does not depict.
Looking south into the woods... which mostly has late leafing trees.
