But I fear some greedy idiots would take everything for themselves (or to sell) and ruin it for everybody else.
Would you support something like this in your area? We have community gardens but access is limited and everyone has to work in order to harvest.

This isn't the first in the nation. Almost every urban forest is full of food, and almost no one ever bothers to pick it. In my area, I get tons of persimmons, figs, walnuts, hickories, pecans, mulberries and blackberries in public areas. The only competition is wildlife.

If I had to guess, people will complain about the yellow jacket problem caused by rotting fruit everywhere. I hope I'm wrong.
