We relocated to Florida this past spring. A few weeks ago, I bought a "cocktail tree" that grows Meyer lemons and key limes on the same tree. It is a patio tree, made to grow in a big pot. It seems to be doing well, itvis starting to flower and get new leaves, etc. Tomorrow night here in west central Florida itvis supposed to dip into the 30s, think the tree is safe outside under an unscreened lanai, or should I bring it in for the night? Thanks for your help.

Definitely bring it in, it's not worth the chance especially if in blossom. We're about to harvest 8 lemons from our Meyer, and we're in the Seattle area where it can be 10F in winter. I bring it in some time in October, and put it back out in May. The blossoms were plentiful over the holidays so you could only smell them, not the Christmas tree. The lemons turning yellow now are from blooms back in April.
Thanks all, only supposed to dip to 39 here tonight but I just brought it in, there are about 20 or so small flowers starting to bud, I want them to stay happy happy. How about herbs such as basil, Rosemary, mint, thyme, they I believe should be fine, no freeze warning in my county,
Bringing it indoors for the season would be more advisable for a plant at the northern limit of its hardiness range or at the very least plant it in the ground with extra winter protection.
Instead of the hassle of moving it inside where it won't harden out and then take longer to adapt back outdoors, buy some frost blanket at any garden center and cover it using safety pins to hold the cover in place. Keep the plant pot watered at a moist level (not over soaked) and you should be good to at least down to 25-27 degrees.
