Hello! I just moved to trinidad and tobago and would like to plant vegetable and herbs in pots. However, I am very uncertain what would grow best in full sun and in pots. Any advice?

The best advice would come from your neighbors and local nurseries.

I agree with the above post. I will add that many of our popular vegetables and fruits are tropical in origin. Tomatoes for example.

Okra, roselle, eggplant, hot peppers, Malabar spinach, sweet potatoes, yams, and many types of gourds, some of which are edible when immature.

Bell peppers and tomatoes will grow but you need to find local varieties. North American varieties are generally not adapted to heat.

Edit: You would need really large pots for sweet potatoes and yams.
