After buying some cheap bird seed I am getting weeds in my weed less bermuda. I will be spraying these very soon.

I’ve put down a third application of fungicide. Still showing signs of dollar spot and red thread.

Time to aerate, over-seed, and put down some lime. Also fertilize. Heading into fall, the best time of year to grow grass.

I applied a granule fungicide (Scotts) about 30 days apart starting in May when humidity cranks up in Maryland. Since we had very little precipitation in May and June, I switched to a liquid fungicide (Spectracide and BioAdvanced) that attaches to a garden hose. I sprayed it about every other week, whether or not my lawn showed signs of fungal disease, and the results have been fantastic. In areas of my lawn where fungal disease took hold, I managed to stop its spread. In other areas that usually die off from disease every year, I have a thick, healthy lawn.

Next 5 days here are calling for record heat and the mid upper 90s with no sign of rain in sight. I was planning to aerate my lawn yesterday but given the heat had to put it off at least until next weekend. Surprisingly the lawn is doing exceptionally well looking very green and thick weed free of course

I was starting to wonder where you were.

My great looking yard has been getting aerated by dang armadillos. I sprayed some bermuda safe weed killer on some of my yard, but I think it killed the bermuda. Between the drought, the heat dome, the armadillos and the so called week killer my yard is looking very bad.

I'll be doing the same here in CT, but aerate first.

Rain here finally stopped after several days and Tim's are averaging around 80 for the next 7 to 10 days. Definitely good fall weather for the lawn.

I have been out of state and I have not done anything for a fall treatment. What can I still put out for my Bermuda? I have my Stonewall bought for the spring applications. My soil is to rocky to aerate. The temperature got down to 36 this morning.
