Not sure if I should be worried or not - this is something new. At this point it is very tiny - and only a couple groupings of a half dozen each of these bi-leaved plants:

Doesn't match any of my weedlings, but I'm not in your geography. "A couple of groups" with half-a-dozen per group suggests something more weedlike than not, although some of the weeds out my way are actually not only quite pretty but draw butterflies.

I'd pull one and take it to the local nursery and ask them--or even just show this picture. It's very good.

Best of luck!

Those are seedling leaves not what the mature leaf will eventually look like. They do have the characteristic look of some vegetable seedlings. What is growing nearby, that should give an indication of what they are.

This actually look similar to how cucumber or zucchini or even watermelon plants would start out. Have you been eating watermelon on this spot last year?
And yes, the next (real) leaf will tell a lot more about these!

Do you or a neighbor have a bird feeder? Squirrels and chipmunks can carry them a distance and hide them in the grass to eat later. These look like sunflowers just starting to sprout.

I was going to say watermelon also. I don't think the shape is quite right for cucumber or zucchini.

Doesn't look like a noxious weed. I would watch it grow.

Its really hard to tell with a seedling like that... give it a week or so and it may be more obvious what it is. Where I don't use pre-emergent I have scores of maple trees that start looking similar.
