meyers lemons are a cross between an orange and a lemon, so you cant compare them..... its like, comparing oranges to lemons.
they make superlative pies, limoncello, other cocktails, etc, and are good to est out of hand. i have 3 trees, and love them!

we can get them here in the Ocala area at Publix, some of the local produce stands, and in Gainesville at the Fresh Market, a Whole Foods wanna-be.

I agree, make limoncello out of them. And Meyers Lemon Preserves. Your'll have something to brighten your breakfast and your evening! Limoncello is great in a cocktail or over ice cream.

Nice link, kshe95girl.
A woman down the street from me has a tree, and her Meyers began ripening right around Thanksgiving--and she went away for the holiday and let me pick all I wanted. They are so good--very different from regular lemons. I quartered some and put them inside our turkeys.
Her tree kept bearing but eventually a freeze came and she picked everything, so no more Meyers for me.
I do hope to have my own tree some day.
