My son gave me a beautiful embossed concrete garden bench for Christmas. Bird droppings are staining it and the edges have been looking like a layer is chipping off the edges.

I like a weathered look to concrete garden items, but should this be sealed or treated in some way? I didn't think it was necessary, but want to make sure I'm taking care of it properly.

Use any type of non bleach cleaner like Oxiclean to get the stains out first. Then follow up with a concrete sealer, and you should be good for a long while.
