If the plant has long (like 18" long) sword shaped leaves coming from the base of the plant it is gladiolus. Some penstemons can look like gladiolus (google "penstemon photo" to see many) but they have shorter (3-6") leaves coming from the sides of a central stalk. If I could see the lower part of the plant I could say for certain, but with just this photo I can't.

Shame we don't know where the OP is because that would help, but I'm going to vote for gladiola too for purple flower #1. Glads here usually bloom in the middle of June so these seem early to me.

The white flowered shrub is a rose of some kind, agreed.

I agree the purple flowers are glads. The flowers look like a penstemon, but you can see from the unopened plants a classic gladiolus look.
