Peach or nectarine.
Where do you live?

Peach leaf curl is too late in the season to manifest itself. By now the would see massive problems on the 1-2 leaf worls. If it is PLC, the leaves would look like a cancer, thickening and deforming of the site infection.

SC but it does not make a difference now it is going bye bye with a chain saw this pm because my mother in law put it in all those kids heads (my husband and his siblings ) that fruit trees draw rats and other pests so she never allowed any kind of fruit tree in her yard . So my husband does not want any fruit trees in his yard and he is stubborn and wont hear anything else ,so it is no longer a need to know thing.

My peaches are eaten by birds and bugs and squirrels, and it's not a particularly pretty tree. By the time I get to think about picking any, they've almost all got holes in them and I'm too worried about biting into a worm to have any appetite for them. YMMV.

My tree is quite a bit bigger than yours now, I wish somebody had got rid of mine when it was little.

God forbid you should accidentally be providing food on your land to the birds whose ancestors had been living there for about 10,000 generations before the humans turned up and claimed it.
