What type of groundcovers are safe? We have some weird area behind a house where is some water but it is not spring, the springs are on the other places at yard. This wet spot is kind of annoying but I thought if groudcovers would be a good idea? We would want less water and groundcovers would use it a lot?

It should be the groundcover which will not move into other place without our permission, lol..

Is there any?

( With links, please )

What zone are you; what kind of soil do you have; and is the area in question primarily sunny or shady?

If the area is really wet and you aren't in a Northern zone you might check into papyrus. (yes there really is a plant papyrus you can grow)
