If it is June, time to think about grubs:

Here are some referenced items in Allyn's video:

Tips on what to use to get rid of grub worms in your lawn - cool season or warm season grass types.

Here is Soil Savvy - a great soil test kit!

Here is the Bayer Advanced in the video...also my choice for addressing grubs:

These are the clippers used to trim the grass around the sprinkler head - Allyn really likes them at this price point:

Planning on putting down Dylox next week.
Worried that I may be too early, though.

I am going with the 3rd to 4th weekend this month.

Curious on your preference of Dylox over Imidacloprid.

Understand, I have used both, but prefer Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer for Soil and Turf Granules:

A simple solution of soap, mouthwash and beer into a garden hose sprayer does wonders on bugs and feeds your grass. All w/o the toxic chemicals.

You can even add epsom salt to boost magnesium levels in the soil.

Besides getting down your granular grub control in late June, also the perfect time for a preventive fungicide application.

Had used a granular product in past years, but a better performer I just picked up:

PROPICONAZOLE Fungicide 14.3 1
