It's funny that you ask. Today, many were talking about passing legislation to make it illegal. I'd suggest you get it while you can.

Salvia seeds are usually sold on those Amsterdam based sites that sell cannabis seeds.

It's a nationwide issue, not a local one. Many states are debating on whether or not it should be illegal. As of right now, it's safe.

Salvia seeds are rare because unlike cannabis, salvia plants produce little to no seeds. You can find the actual salvia in headshops that sell bongs and rolling papers, but it's going to be hard to find some seeds at a local shop. For the most part, they are sold by the same companies that sell cannabis seeds. Those Amsterdam based companies where cannabis is illegal. They are not impossible to find, but they're close to it.

I'm guessing you want to experience the effects of salvia? Don't waste your time. The effects of the weaker strains (20x) last less than five minutes. The stronger strains (60x) will knock you on your ass. Most people I know that have tried the 60x say they would never do it again because they collapsed or felt out of control.

If you do decide to do it, have someone there that you trust.

Uh...yes.
I have seen Salvia plants advertised in the seed & bulb catalogs I get...I haven't researched what is what as far as strains, and potency...but you can search catalogs online.
