LOL, how true. I tend to err on the side of caution and do not use pesticides. I only used Round Up once and that was on the poison ivy coming up through the deck. Figured THAT was worth the risk. A lot of things are only theories--like that they cause cancer or have other detrimental effects and then years later, it's finally proven to be true.

Yeah, it's called going off topic or hijacking a thread, and threads frequently get shut down here and elsewhere for that reason. What you end up with is two or three "experts" thrashing each other to defend their supposed expertise -- in this case, in a thread titled "Is this poison ivy?" rather than "which of these guys knows more about what he/she is talking about?".
