I have 20 bell pepper plants that are getting 6 plus hours of full sun each day. I live in Southern Spain. Now, I have noticed 4 peppers on 2 of the plants have a whitish blemish near the top. It feels spongy but firm. Also 1 of those 4 has a brown patch. Both plants are in different containers and have the same compost. I am thinking that maybe they need some calcium but then all the containers have the same compost and this problem only effects 2 plants.
