I've grown basil for years until this location. Several yrs. in a row, the healthy plant quickly begins to turn light green and shrivels up....I finally studied enough to see whiteflies were destroying the plant. Tried last year with whitefly spray but just didn't work....

Decided with this one herb, will just have to go with plants brought home from groc store and kept inside...
don't need that much anyway.

got most of last years containers cleaned out: have put the new top soil in them yet but will tomorrow if it doesn't rain. Otherwise one day later this week. I also ordered some cloth containers. The reviews are fantastic so I just hope they work. At least they are cheap if they don't hold up. Anyone else tried them?
