Very pretty. Can’t remember seeing one before.

Added: I checked and I am too far north for them. That’s a shame.

I got it last Dec and it was like a 1ft tall. It sure grew fast. It took 27f fine last winter.

Iím in zone 7. The website said anything north of 10 was too cold. I wish I could get one, though. I have a few butterfly bushes but none so pretty as your tree.

I bought 3 more to plant in the yard. Lets see if they grow as fast as the one in the pic.

What variety of cassia is it? There are many types with various needs and cold hardiness.

It's called a butterfly version. Tag said temps to 30f. But it did fine with a 27f low last Jan. I think some kinds can take colder temps. It has long seed pods growing on it now.

Does the tag by chance have a botanical name? Many or most tags do. That will tell exactly the species and variety.

I will have to dig it up. It is called cassia bicapsularis. One tag says 20f and another 30f.
