Check out the Hudson Valley Seed Company. They primarily feature heirloom varietals and actually operate as a not-for-profit with the mission of saving heirloom varietal species from extinction due to the biotech companies. I have found their seeds very prolific, apparently due to the fact the company keeps a short shelf life which extends to buybacks of unsold product from retailers after each season. You can order online or find your local retailer.

Let me just add this: The germination rate is great AND they give you a veritable buttload of seeds per packet. You could plant a farm with some of these packets.

That's not right. No company selling seeds for home gardening sells genetically engineered seeds to home gardeners. Many companies selling seeds for home gardening do sell seeds produced by Monsanto.
