Since we love to talk about gardening....

Daffodils, tulips en masse that are a pretty coral color, grape hyacinths...anemones.

Hyacinths coming next, with a pale pink astilbe on the way.

Red bud trees have red buds just waiting to open...

What's in my yard right now? Mostly snow. The shadiest part of my yard by the woods probably won't thaw until May, based on current forecasts. We have a few dafs pushing up a few inches, but blooming anything? Long way away. This is in S. NH

Oranges, kumquats, and tomatoes and flowers. The beans are just seedlings, and some seeds haven't come up yet. Oh, rosemary is blooming, too. The ornamental pear trees are already done, but Japanese maples have their little red blossoms, and the bees are going crazy over them. We also have tulips and California poppies at full color. I love spring! (North of San Francisco)

A beautiful pink flowered tree that was here when I got here and I have no idea of its name, daffodils, and hyacinths.

Snow Drops, and daffies.

I clipped some daffies and put in a vase in the bonus room.

The tulips have poked through, but not bloomed yet.

The next will be the forsythia to bloom.

The cherry tree has leaf budlets as do the apples.

In zone5b.

Can't wait for more warmer weather, for more to happen.

Oh and the irises are struggling through, no matter how hard we try to kill those puppies off.

The daffodils and hyacinths are about done, but the first rhododendron is starting to bloom, as is the camellia. The primroses have been blooming for several weeks but they were starting when we bought and planted them.

Maple sugaring season just ended up here - normally a late winter activity.

Desert Rose, Milkweed (the Monarch butterflies love it), Celosia, Gerbera Daisies, Hibiscus, Oleander and some weird kind of lily that I was told only bloomed every few years but is starting to bloom after less than 2 months.
