The picture is really small and can't be enlarged but the leaves don't appear to have scalloped edges so I don't think it's Swedish Ivy (which has well defined scalloped leaves).
Maybe variegated confederate jasmine vine ..... or variegated asiatic jasmine .... or variegated harlequin honeysuckle.
Have you seen any flowers or berries on it?

sorry, that was an unintended thumbnail.
it's at a house i'm thinking of buying so i've never seen any flowers or berries before.
it climbs at least 25 feet up this old cherry tree.

Have you tried PlantSnap? It's an App for your phone where you take a picture and it identifies the plant. I'm sure there are others available too, but this one has worked great for me.

Looks similar to this - Euonymus fortunei 'Variegatus' - Plant Finder - maybe a different variety?
I can't say for certain, not a plant I know well.
Definitely not Swedish ivy, which IS a plant I know well.

It's also known as spindle vine, spindle bush, spindle tree and winter creeper. It has very unique looking and brightly neon coloured but highly toxic berries which last all through winter and provide a bright splash of colour. There are several cultivars - my neighbour down the street from me has one growing up another tree in her back yard, but the variegation on it is not as defined as OP's vine. The berries it produces are a bright shocking salmon pink. It doesn't seem to have harmed the other tree that is supporting it.

I tried a different one in the past, but wasn’t too impressed- tried this one just now. See below.
