Is this a hibiscus or a mulberry? (identification please) (flowers, growing, 2015)

This is a cutting of a 3 metre tall and wide tree at my old grandma's apartment back garden. The cutting is growing well and it's a year and a half old now. I used a plant identifier app and it says it's either a Hibiscus syriacus (Rose of Sharon) or a Morus alba (Chinese Mulberry). Both seem pretty close suggestions going by the leaf shape. What does it look like in your eyes?
I think you will need to wait and see what the flowers look like. Gardening teaches us patience.
Well, that's true of course. Unfortunately, the mother plant was cut down a few months ago (pretty inconvenient in my case, because now I could never go back to the neighbourhood and see it flower).
