Still cold here. Low 40's all day, snow tonight...
I am so jealous. Love it.

Walmart isn't very careful about their vendors. We get calls all the time at work (a CPA firm) from customers or Walmart customer service asking where their stuff is from a certain vendor. This vendor is using our name and phone number. We've been telling Walmart this for months, but they haven't done anything.

Supposed to get a rain/snow mix for the next 3 days. Higher elevations up to a foot of snow, possibly 1-4" in our location in the valley.

Going to have to cover some radishes and tender greens. Love springtime in the rockies!

Crazy. Seeing some snow tweets from Montana in my twitter feed. Just left a post on it too. Hope you don't have too much damage.

Not too bad for us right now. Most of the real slop is NW of here along the pronounced Rocky Mountain Front (RMF). We've received mostly rain, a little wet snow. Our weather station has recorded 1/2" of much needed moisture so far.

Went down to 28-29 last night, but the soil has been pretty warm so I think things will be fine.

No shooting today! We've had 20-30mph winds and sideways snow for a full day! Supposed to continue to be windy and cold (lows in the upper 20's) tonight too.

Whats your morning soil temp at? Gotta be under 40° now. It'll bounce back once pattern flips for you. Soil temp in the 60s here now.

Ya know we have never taken soil temperature since we've been gardening. Weird as it sounds- we typically play it be ear (and by feel of the soil). I won't plant corn until June 1 AND the soil has to feel only slightly cool to my hand- not cold.

The weather is so bat-guano crazy here that I think if we measured soil temps we'd drive ourselves nuts because of the temp swings we get, lol.
