Sorry about the tomatoes not listed in the poll. How could I forget that? All I can say is I'm losing my mind.

I didn't vote as it is still too cold to plant much yet. Besides tomatoes, other things not on the list that I grow with my vegetables are herbs and edible flowers (pansies, violets, roses, marigolds, bachelor buttons and nasturiums, I use them in salads, in cake decorating, and as garnish) and strawberries and raspberries.

Okay John, what do you have against tomatoes?

From your list:

Peppers
Eggplant
Tomatoes (we'll call it an oversight )

Not on your list, but growing:

Fennel
Basil (4 kinds)
Oregano
Salad Burnet
Chives
Rosemary (2 kinds)

Also getting started with, but it may be a while before harvest:

Citrus (lemon - 2 kinds, lime, limequat, kumquat)
Blackberry
Fig
Passionfruit
Kiwi

So far, I'm having the toughest time with my 'maters .

Hi, Riveree you could change my poll to remove the plant called Kale and add the Tomatoe plant instead if you want.

Thanks, John

Well, I might mess things up since people already put their tomato votes in the "other" category...besides, if I fix it, we can't razz you .

I love kale . I cook it, then drizzle it with soy sauce or ginger-tamari sauce and sprinkle roasted pumpkin seeds on top....it's really good that way .
