I have two tall bamboo plants in large containers. They have obviously out grown the containers. The containers' dimensions are 16"x16"x16". They have done well for the first two years, and now there are new shoots growing left-n-right. Our patio is small and that is why they're in containers. We use them for shading a west facing patio door, Which blocks the summer sun.
The question is... has anyone cut the bamboo at the roots, in a verticle fashion, and replanted them in other containers? If, there was a website link, can someone direct me to it?
